Susana Borges holds a PhD in Communication Sciences from New University of Lisbon. Professor at the Higher School of Education of the Polytechnic Institute of Coimbra since 2007, she teaches undergraduate courses in Social Communication and Organizational Communication, as well as in the master in New Media. She is member of SOPCOM (Portuguese Communication Sciences Association) and ECREA (European Communication Research and Education Association). Her areas of interest are Public Sphere and Public Opinion; Deliberation; Rhetoric and Argumentation; Discourse Studies; Media and Journalism.
